The "Cioccolato di Modica IGP" biscuits inside this elegant tin are among the biscuits in Biscottificio Tumminello's "GraniSi" line, produced exclusively with ancient Sicilian grains such as Timilia flour, a low-gluten wheat, and Majorca flour, a very ancient soft wheat cultivated for centuries in Sicily, also very low in gluten. The use of the very fine 70% dark Modica IGP chocolate from Ecuador with Mascobado sugar gives these delicious biscuits a typically Sicilian flavour. Tasty, crumbly and fragrant, they are made exclusively with flours from ancient Sicilian grains.
